Our Club

The Hutt Bridge Club is located in central New Zealand. One of seven clubs in the greater Wellington area, we provide a facility in the Hutt Valley for learning about and playing the game of bridge. The club is an affiliated member of New Zealand Bridge Inc. All grades of playing are catered for and the club also hosts several tournaments during the year. We are located here.

Our Mission:

The prime objective of the Hutt Bridge Club is to provide people of all ages with an opportunity to participate with others in a stimulating recreational activity in a supportive and welcoming environment.

We will achieve this objective by making sure:

• our communication with and between members is designed to encourage inclusiveness and support for one another;
• our club is managed in such a way that it strikes the right balance between the needs of members who enjoy the companionship the club offers and those who wish to practice their bridge skills at a more competitive level;
• our financial management reflects a prudent approach to the funds entrusted to the club and that those funds provide value for all present and future members; and
• our focus reaches out beyond the game itself to provide an environment to cater for the social and intellectual needs of more senior and retired members of the community.
