- Congratulations to Arumugam Kumarasamy (Kum) and Graham Weir (Wgtn) who won the Kapi Mana Multigrade tournament over the weekend!
- Members of our Club (Andeana Pilalis, Elaine Richardson, Dianna and Peter Snethlage, Phil Revell) formed 6 No Trumps team - the best dressed team of the Wellington Sixes! Congratulations also to Marian Loader who got an individual award for her costume and Nelson Procter who, together with his partner, came 2nd in Open section!
- Our annual AGM will be held on Sunday 22 March at 5:00pm. A fun bridge session will be held prior to the AGM starting at 2:45pm. Drinks and nibbles will be provided. All welcome. Please sign up.
- Our 2020 bridge lessons start next Monday 16 March. Pick up a flyer off the table in the foyer and tell your family and friends.
- Want to brush up or have a niggling question answered? AJ is running a Q&A session every Saturday at 10:30am in the playing room. All are welcome including non-members. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
- NZBridge invites you to a rubber bridge event. See the noticeboard under regional events for more details. Entries must be received by 31 March.
- The Upper Hutt Intermediate/Junior tournament is on 29 March.
- In light of the coronavirus it is timely to remind people of the importance of good handwashing. There are hand sanitisers dotted around the club. Please use these freely. When they get low don’t throw them away as we have a hand sanitiser refill.
