- On Sunday 28 February we moved back into Alert Level 2. Please remain vigilant with observing the very now familiar health and hygiene requirements. Don’t come to bridge if you are unwell, keep up the hand washing, use the sanitiser provided and scan the QR code to help with contact tracing.
- Despite being in Level 2 our Multigrade tournament on Sunday was a great success with 18 tables attending! Thank you to our sponsor – Gee & Hickton, and Madeleine Askew and team who ensured a very smooth and enjoyable day. Thank you also to our bakers. Congratulations to the following winners:

♣ Top Junior pair: Bernice Singh & Margaret Carter - Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Sunday 28 March at 5:00pm. A fun bridge session will be held prior to the AGM starting at 2:45pm. Drinks and nibbles will be provided. All welcome. Please sign up, the form is on the noticeboard.
- With some long-standing committee members standing down, new members are needed. Nomination forms are on the wall. Talk to a current committee member or Megan to find out more about what is involved.
- Just a reminder to those sitting South, you can help speed up play in the room by making your lead or placing dummy on the table before entering details into the bridgemate.
- Please remember to wear your name tags. We’re encouraging people to play other sessions and it helps people to settle in and feel welcome. If yours is lost, please let Megan know.
- 2021 bridge lessons start Monday 15 March. Pick up a flyer off the table in the foyer and tell your family and friends.
- Tuesday: Just a reminder Swiss Pairs starts Tuesday 9 March, you must sign up to play and entries close this Friday 5 March. See the noticeboard.
- Saturday revision is on this Saturday 6 March at 10:30am in the playing room - $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
