- The committee met on Thursday 21 April and decided that vaccine passes are no longer necessary, but we will continue to be cautious with mask wearing. Therefore, face masks are still to be worn at the bridge table with no exemptions allowed yet. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits should be consumed away from the table.

- This Thursday’s session is a Mix ‘n Mingle. Everyone is welcome and the only condition is you play with someone you have never played with before.
- Our Open/Junior tournaments will be held face-to-face on Sunday 15 May. Thanks to Gee & Hickton for sponsoring our Open tournament and the Ron Fisher Trust for subsidising the entry fee for the Junior tournament. Note to Juniors the entry fee is $10. Sign up on the noticeboard. There is a sheet on the notices tables. Please add your name if you can help with baking or on the day. Commitment for helpers is 1-2 hours.
- Are you a Downton Abbey fan? Downton Abbey 2 is about to hit the theatres, if you’re thinking of getting tickets, hold off for now. Our committee are looking to book an evening at the Lighthouse as a club fundraiser. More details to follow.
- Saturday Revision is on this Saturday 30 April at 10:30am in the playing room.
- Russell Dive is playing in the National Rubber Bridge final this Saturday 30 April at 2:00pm on RealBridge. If you are interested in watching the match, there will be a link set up in RealBridge prior to the start of the match https://kibitz.realbridge.online
- Next Monday’s lesson is “Overcalls.” The lesson starts at 7:15pm. All members are welcome.
