- The committee met on Thursday 21 April and decided that vaccine passes are no longer necessary, but we will continue to be cautious with mask wearing. Therefore, face masks are still to be worn at the bridge table with no exemptions allowed yet. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits should be consumed away from the table.

- Congratulations to Russell Dive and Anthony Ker who won the 2021 National Rubber Bridge final on Saturday 30 April.
- Congratulations to Megan Turner and Viv Turner who won the Hokowhitu Intermediate tournament on Sunday 1 May.
- Our Open/Junior tournaments are just two weeks away – Sunday 15 May. Entries are needed for both tournaments. Thanks to Gee & Hickton for sponsoring our Open tournament and the Ron Fisher Trust for subsidising the entry fee for the Junior tournament. Note to Juniors the entry fee is $10. Sign up on the noticeboard. There is a sheet on the notices tables. Please add your name if you can help with baking or on the day. Commitment for helpers is 1-2 hours.
- We have a date and time for our Downton Abbey fundraiser – Monday 23 May at 6:00pm. Ask your family and friends. Tickets are $20 and will be available soon.
- Saturday Revision is on this Saturday 7 May at 10:30am in the playing room.
- Next Monday’s lesson is “Takeout Double.” The lesson starts at 7:15pm. All members are welcome.
