- Thanks to Upper Hutt for being fabulous hosts at the annual Hutt/Upper Hutt Challenge last Friday night. Congratulations to Jeffry Craanen & Deidre Stallinger 1st for Hutt and Andrea Carson & Anne Skinner 1st for Upper Hutt and congratulations to Hutt for winning the challenge and bringing home the cup. Well done team!
- The membership list is out on the notices table for everyone to check their details are correct for next year. Any changes need to be made by the end of this week.
- Interclub is on this Friday night. The draw is on the noticeboard.
- Saturday Revision is on this Saturday 15 October at 10:30am in the playing room. Online bridge is on this Sunday 16 October at 7pm.
- We are hosting the Loveblock NZ Wide Pairs Friday 11 November. This is a New Zealand wide pairs event supporting the NZ Bridge Foundation and sponsored by Loveblock Wines. National results are produced, A points are allocated per region and C points for club winners in both directions. All players receive a booklet which discusses each hand in detail. Entry fee $10, with supper provided and the bar will be open.
