The third round of Interclub was held on Friday night. Congratulations and well done to the following teams on their wins:
- Open Restricted teams captained by Jeffry Craanen and David Haines.
- Intermediate team captained by Jill Marsden
- Junior teams captained by Margaret Carter and Toni Kane
The next round is on Friday, 21 June. - Play with an Expert on Friday, 14 June, at 7 pm. Come along in Teams of 3 or a pair or even on your own (you will be placed in a team). Sign up on the notices board or ring Ruth.
- Revision is not on this Saturday.
- Improver lesson 1 June start time to 10.30 am. Ten lessons for $100 for the entire course or $15 a lesson per lesson. If you have questions, phone Ruth or put your name on the sign sheet on the notices board.
- King’s Birthday Bridge Event
The Club is open for a special session of bridge during the upcoming public holiday next week – the King’s Birthday Pairs is being held at 1 pm on the afternoon of Monday 3 June. Come along to celebrate things royal by having the day off to play more bridge. It’s going to be a fun day so wear your best regalia – think crowns, jewels, furs, medals, sashes, or red, white and blue clothing. There will be prizes and novelties and lots of laughs. Best to organise a partner beforehand but, if you decide on the day to play, just come along in good time and we will sort it out.
