- Congratulations to Ian Pronk and Ken Chin for coming 1st in the Intermediate and Junior section of the South Wairarapa Multi-Grade Pairs.
- Ruth is away this Friday at Congress from the 27 September to the 4th of October. The office will be manned Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Emails and phone messages will be checked at other times. Good luck to all who are going to Congress.
- The committee is confirming next year’s programme book. Please check your contact details are correct with the membership list on the notices table. This is also a good time to consider sponsoring a monthly series next year. Sponsorship is a vital source of income for the club. If you would like more information about this please contact Ruth.

- Tuesday Teams
Tuesday Teams are coming up on the 1st of October. Open to all members!
This is our only team event in the club! We have a prize for the best junior team, as well as for the overall winners. You must enter to play, so please enter your team on the noticeboard as soon as possible.
- The Upper Hutt and Hutt Challenge is on the 4 October at Upper Hutt Club at 7.30pm. Help us retain the cup! Sign up on the notice board.
- Fun Social In–House Tournament Saturday 12 October. This is a multi-grade event – a great Tournament Taster! All members are welcome from novices to open players. Juniors and Novices are free, $10 for all other players. - AJ’s Revision is on this week.
- Congratulations to the lotto winner, TJ Dolstra, with lucky number 13.
