Hutt Open Swiss Pairs Sunday week May 18
Entries are coming in which is great to see, two Hutt pairs amongst them. Remember, there’s also a prize for best Intermediate pair - be in to win! -
Hutt Junior Pairs Sunday week May 18
This is a subsidised tournament, thanks to the Ron Fisher Trust, so it is only
$15 per person. A great deal for a good day out! 2 Hutt pairs entered so far. Come and join them - it would be good to see a strong Hutt field at our very own tournament. Prize also for the best Novice pair - be in to win! -
Helpers needed for our Tournament - Sunday 18 March
We need:
- 4 volunteer helpers for the morning shift - 10 am to 11.30 - morning tea clean up, and some prep for the after-match nibbles.
- 2 volunteer helpers over lunch - 12.30 - 2.00 pm
- 4 volunteer helpers for the after-match function - from 3.30pm til 5.30 pm - heating up and plating food, organising and serving at the bar
- Baking for morning tea. Hutt has a great reputation for our morning teas.
- Please sign up on the sheet on the Notices table, or let Ruth know how you can help. - On Saturday, May 10, at 10am Vil Gravis will give a lesson on team play and tactics. All are welcome – free of charge.
- Our second lesson starts on Monday 9 June at 7pm. Most of those who attend our lessons already know people who play at the Club so please let your friends/neighbors/associates know. The first three lessons are free so they can try before they buy. Please take a flyer.
- Revision is not on this Saturday with AJ 10am.
