- Queensgate Stand Saturday 28 January 10-5
Most of you will have heard that the Club is hosting a stand at Queensgate to promote bridge in our community and attract learners to our lessons. We need help from you - all you have to do is come and play bridge for a couple of hours at our demonstration table. Come single, as a pair or as a table. Just let Megan know when you are available, thanks.
And to playing committees: The Committee would much appreciate your help in finding four players for a table from your session for the stand. That way it’ll be about an hour and a half slot for each group at the demo. Thanks for your support! - Your programme books are on the table in the foyer. Also included is your 2023 subscription invoice and a flyer to help you promote our 2023 lessons. Please use these to talk to friends, family, neighbours and others and interest them in learning the world’s best card game. Also, please uplift and deliver books to people who live near you.
- To help fill in what will seem a long gap for some players, online bridge will be offered in December on Thursday 15th, Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 28th. These sessions will be like the casual Sunday night bridge, costing $5 by direct debit and starting at 7pm. The links will be on the club’s website.
