• In 2019 the Wellington Regional Bridge Committee ran a Rookie League competition for new players. Four members of our club won prizes! Congratulations to:

  ♠ Jacob Pilalis who came second overall

• Interclub: Interclub sign-up is on the wall. Members across all grades are encouraged to participate. Please complete your entries by Wednesday 26 Feb.
• Our first tournament for the year is the Hutt Multigrade on Sunday 1 March. Details here. Please sign up to play here. We would very much appreciate your help with baking something sweet or savoury. A baking sheet is on the notices table for you to note down your delicious offerings.

• Please note we now have a lost property box. This is situated at the North end of the room near the Christmas tree. Please check the box for lost items.
• The office will be closed from Friday 20 December. Bridge commences Monday 6 January and there will be limited office hours during this week with the office being open Monday and Friday 11am to 1pm. Normal office hours will resume Monday 13 January.

• We hosted Interclub on Friday night and once again it was a very successful evening. Thank you to Diana Pratchett and Madeleine Askew for their help on the night. Congratulations to Intermediate 1 captained by Simon Webber on their 3rd placing and the Novice team captained by Neil Sargisson on their second placing overall. Also, congratulations to the following teams on their wins: Open 2, Intermediate 2, 3 & 4, and Junior 1 captained by Marian Loader, Jill Herman, Hans Jorgensen and Joan Finley respectively.

• The club is holding a “working bee” on Saturday 30 November from 9am to 11am. Tasks will be allocated out on the day. We will ask for helpers closer to the date.
• Interclub: The final night of Interclub for 2019 is this Friday 15 November. We are hosting, along with Wellington and Kairangi. See the noticeboard for your venue.
  Diana Pratchett is looking for one person to help her in the kitchen and on the bar. Time commitment would be 8pm to 11pm. Please let Megan in the office know if you can help.
