Notices w/c 26 July 2021
- The Quiz night is on this Friday at 7pm.
- Saturday Revision is on this Saturday 31 July 10:30am in the playing room.
- Entries are now closed for the Thursday Swiss Pairs. If you are not entered but available to be a sub please let Megan know.
- Our Hutt Intermediate tournament is on Sunday 8 August. Bakers and helpers are needed. The requirement for helping is 1-2 hours. There is a sheet on the notices tables. Please add your name if you can help with baking or on the day.

- Hutt had a successful evening of Interclub for round 5 held Friday 16 July. Thank you to Jill Marsden and helpers for a smooth running evening. Congratulations to the following teams on their wins: the Novice team captained by Nathan Tucker; Junior teams captained by Neil Sargisson and John Roseveare; and Intermediate teams captained by Jeffry Craanen and Joan Finley.
- Congratulations to Jeffry Craanen & Simon Webber who picked up a session prize at the Karori Intermediate tournament on Sunday 18 July.

- The Quiz night is on Friday 30 July 7pm. Note you can pay the entry fee of $10 by either EFTPOS or direct debit. We do need more donations please. Donations of wine, chocolates and goodies can be left in the box in the foyer.
- Thursday Swiss Pairs starts 29 July. You must sign up to play. Entries close Monday 26 July.
- Our Hutt Intermediate tournament is on Sunday 8 August. The sign-up sheet is on the wall or register online.

- Please remain vigilant observing the now familiar health and hygiene requirements. These include not coming to bridge if you are unwell, keeping up the hand washing, using the sanitiser provided and scanning the QR code to help with contact tracing.
- Hutt hosted the Wellington Region Club Champs on Sunday 11 July. Karori Bridge Club were the overall winners taking out the top prize. Nelson Procter and Russell Dive came 3rd in the Open section.

- This Sunday 11 July is the Wellington Region Club Champs. Our team comprises of Nelson Procter & Russell Dive, Martyn Dowman & Phil Revell, Marian Loader & Simon Webber, and Phillip King & Neil Sargisson. Go well team!

- Please note the bathrooms are being repaired and upgraded this Wednesday and Thursday with a new cistern flushing system. There may be some impact on the Wednesday evening session with only one set of toilets available for use.

- The recent nasty winter weather has been accompanied by a resurgence of coughs and colds in the community. Please do not come to bridge if you are unwell.

- Upper Hutt is hosting an Open tournament this Sunday 13 June. Registrations close this Wednesday.

- Next Monday is Queen’s birthday. There is no bridge and no buddy session that evening either. Also, there will be no Saturday revision this Saturday 5 June. Have a lovely long weekend.
