Notices w/c 05 July 2021
- Though back in Alert Level 1 please remain vigilant observing the now familiar health and hygiene requirements. These include not coming to bridge if you are unwell, keeping up the hand washing, using the sanitiser provided and scanning the QR code to help with contact tracing.
- Congratulations to our Hutt team comprising of Deidre Stallinger, Debbie Wolak, Jeffry Craanen & Simon Webber who came 2nd on handicap at the Kairangi Multigrade Teams tournament held on Sunday 4 July.
- This Sunday 11 July is the Wellington Region Club Champs. Our team comprises of Nelson Procter & Russell Dive, Martyn Dowman & Phil Revell, Marian Loader & Simon Webber, and Phillip King & Neil Sargisson. Go well team!
- Round 5 of Interclub is on Friday 16 July. Please see this link for the draw.
- The very popular Hutt Quiz night is back, Friday 30 July 7pm. There are two sign up forms on the wall, one to join a team and one if you already have a team. Donations of wine, chocolates and goodies would be much appreciated. These can be left in the box in the foyer. Please support this fundraiser. It is going to be a fun night!
- Our Hutt Intermediate tournament is on Sunday 8 August. The sign-up sheet is on the wall or register online.
- Please note the bathrooms are being repaired and upgraded this Wednesday and Thursday with a new cistern flushing system. There may be some impact on the Wednesday evening session with only one set of toilets available for use.

- Hutt had a successful round of Interclub last Friday 18 June. Congratulations to the following teams on their wins: Novice Hutt 1 captained by Nathan Tucker, Junior Hutt 1 captained by Neil Sargisson, Intermediate teams Hutt 1 captained by Jeffry Craanen, Hutt 5 captained by Doug O’Halloran and Hutt 3 captained by Kathryn Badcock, and Open Restricted Hutt 1 captained by Phil Revell.
- The recent nasty winter weather has been accompanied by a resurgence of coughs and colds in the community. Please do not come to bridge if you are unwell.
- The very popular Hutt Quiz night is back. More details to follow but for now save the date – put Friday 30 July in your diary.

- Just a gentle reminder that if you spill your coffee or tea on the carpet please do clean it up.
- Upper Hutt is hosting an Open tournament this Sunday 13 June. Registrations close this Wednesday.

- Eftpos is available at the club. The machine is in the Directors room on the shelf on the right. If you usually pay by cash please consider using our eftpos machine and mark eftpos on the session sheet.
- Entries for the Wednesday Swiss Pairs starting this Wednesday are now closed.
- Next Monday is Queen’s birthday. There is no bridge and no buddy session that evening either. Also, there will be no Saturday revision this Saturday 5 June. Have a lovely long weekend.
