  • Hutt bridge success over the weekend:
    Russell Dive and Anthony Ker (from Wellington Bridge Club) came 1st in the Kairangi Open tournament and Maciej Szczesny and Mariusz Tumilowicz (from Karori Bridge Club) came 2nd. Congratulations to these members!

    Intermediate Hutt 3 team advanced to the final of the Intermediate competition, to be played in the last round.
     
    Junior Hutt 1 team advanced to the top of the Junior ladder and will be fighting in the last round to retain the lead.
     
    Open Hutt 1 team advanced to the plate final of the Open competition, to be played in the last round.
  • Congratulations to Maciej Szczesny and Mariusz Tumilowicz (from Karori Bridge Club) for winning the Kapi Mana Intermediate Tournament held on Sunday 14 Oct:

  • Hutt Club had the pleasure of hosting the Hutt vs Upper Hutt Challenge on Friday 5 October. In the face of stiff opposition the Hutt Club came out on top and managed to regain the cup. Well done! Thanks to all players who took part and made it such a fun and enjoyable evening!

  • Alan Grant is running an Improvers Day on Saturday 22nd September at Wellington Bridge Club. This day is aimed at emerging Junior/Intermediate Players wanting to take a step up (see flyer). Contact Megan in the office to register.

Notices w/c 10 Sep 201810

  • Interclub successes on Friday night (7th Sep): congratulations to Junior Hutt 1 team (captained by Andeana Pilalis);Junior Hutt 3 (captained by Jackie Upchurch) and Intermediate Hutt 3 team (captained by Jill Marsden) on their wins. Intermediate Hutt 3 team has secured a place in semifinals (see Interclub Intermediate ladder) - good luck to them for progressing to the final!
  • After 10 Junior tournaments held this year Maciej Szczesny retains the lead in the Junior Bridge League, with Andeana Pilalis running second. With 2 more Junior tournaments still to go Hutt Bridge Club has already secured the top 2 places in the Junior Bridge League 2018 (see Junior Bridge League ladder). Congratulations to Maciej and Andeana, members of our club!

  • Hutt successes over the weekend: Congratulations to Andeana Pilalis and Maciej Szczesny who came 2nd at the Wellington Junior Tournament held Sunday 2nd Sep (below with Ruth Brucker - Wellington Club Committee Member):
  • Thank you to all members who supported Daffodil Day. $144 was raised by Club members.
  • Wednesday players: Super Social Sunday at HBC on 2nd September was a huge success with 42 beginners from different Wellington Bridge clubs attending!
